Detailing the Tamiya Lotus 49 1/12 scale

Kit / Model

Lotus 49

Manufacturer

Tamiya

Item Code

1201

Scale

1/12

Description

Having obtained a Tamiya 1/12 kit of the Lotus 49 I decided to super detail the model as the kit is rather basic by today's standard. It has to be said that although it was first moulded many years ago the fit of the parts is excellent which proves the high standard that Tamiya obtain.

It's amazing. how have you done to finalize this model like that. i have hordered the notice on the modelersite web site to try to do the same but can you tell me if i have to buy a lot of extra pieces to get this result. Do i need specials tools or things like that? How long does it take you ?

Congratulations and i hope i'll be able to do the same.
Best regards
