Mack F700 ST with an Don Heinz Tow equipment

Kit / Model

Mack Cruise Liner

Manufacturer

AMT/Ertl

Item Code

n/a

Scale

1/25

Description

To build this model I have used an chassis of a Mack Cruise Liner of AMT. The chassis is out of the box but the fuel tanks, battery boxes and air tanks are from the spare box.
The resin cab is made by A.I.M. (American Industrial Models) The kit is produced in scale 1/25 and it consists a floorpan, a complete interior and whitemetal parts as door handles and mirrors. However the resin is a little thick the quality of the outside is good.
I did not used the whitemetal parts because the AMT cruise liner kit consists nice chrome parts.
The Don Heinz tow unit is taken from the AMT Peterbilt kit and is also out of the box. The only thing I have adjust are the wheel gaps.
The colours of the model adapt to the decals of the which where included to the Peterbilt kit to get one match

Congratulations Erik, I really enjoy looking this Mack. It's very clean and nice looking. I think that you just picked the right colors to give a beautiful scheme. I wish to build one of this some day.

Regards,

Fabio.
