Michael Schumachers second F1 championship winning car

Kit / Model

Benetton B195

Manufacturer

Academy

Item Code

N/A

Scale

1/20

Description

This Academy kit (finished about 5 years ago) is my favorite contender for the “worst kit“ award, the fit is poor and the decals are incomplete and useless. So it took some effort to create a decent model. The kit provides engine detail but due to the quality of the kit I decided to build a curbside version.

The decals used are from “F1Specialties” and the only thing worth mentioning about building this kit is that the head rest is modified and the whole color scheme is air brush painted (only the logos are decals).

This is one of those kits which its only value comes from the fact that it is the only scale model (I guess I'm right) os the car tha provided Schumi with his 2nd world championship. Nice building considering the lack of quality of the kit.
