Suzuki GSX1100S Katana

I built this model early in the '80. All the painting was done with Testor spray cans...etc.
In 1998 I decided that it was time to do something with a model that was during almost 15 years taken dust. I disassembled, removed the paint and applied a customized livery. It was very fun, the testor paint was not easy to remove but in some places I just sanded using the spray paint like a good ( and very dried) base.

Later in the ’90 I used to do this with many old kits I had, to take advantage of them, because are expensive and their huge boxes make the shipping terrorific.
