FERRARI FI WITH CONEPTUAL PAINT SCHEME

I wanted to give this f1 ferrari a little more track appeal by incorporating the italian flag colors into its paint scheme. So i added a color slash to the nose and painted the wing red, white, and green.
I modified the kit nose by bending down the top panel and adding new sides to it. I vac-formed new front and rear wings, and attached the kit end plates to each. I added some aero-tweaks to the airbox, side pods and in front of the cockpit. The mirror pylons and pitot tube were made from copper so they would be more durable. I trimmed down the rear underbody sponsons flush with the bodywork. I widened the cross-section of the front a-arms and installed a scratch-built driver figure. I added a bit of testors boyd classic beige to the italian red which gave it a tad brighter toned-down apperance. Kit decals were used to complete the project, which were over-sprayed with a johnsons future floor wax.
