PANOZ DP01 CHAMP CAR

This 1/25 scale panoz dp01 represents the cart series' last hurrah in 2007. Since there was never a kit of this car produced, i used a vintage revell-monogram reynard kit wheels and driver figure, and vacu-formed the body and wings. The most challenging details were the side pod louvers, which i fabricated from laminated sheet styrene bent to shape. Other scratch-built parts were the roll bar, in-car camera, rear and front wing assemblies, antennae, mirrors, and suspension arms which were made fom aluminum. Kit decals and home-made "kv" logo were used, with an over-spray of future wax to complete the project.
