Description

This model is based on the Hubley Duesenberg metal kit from the 1960's. I bought a poorly painted and partially assembled example on Ebay and fitted it with built from scratch wire wheels, plated metal bumpers, headlamps and windshield frames. There are other upgrades too numerous to mention. These 1/18 scale kits were very detailed and accurate, but, as is so often the case, the plastic "wire" wheels spoiled what was otherwise a realistic looking model.
