Description

P24029 Porsche Berlin-Rome 1939
This was a great project I did for a friend. Although the color is not the used by the real car, there were only 3 made. One was Black, another one was Olive Green and the last and only survivor til this days was painted Metallic Light Blue. THe color used here was Tamiya Silver Leaf Spray, and the Body was prepared to paint using a lot of primer to fill the moulding imperfections it had. A clear coat of Tamiya clear spray was applied on it, and then polished using automotive 3M Hand Glaze, The interior was pianted with Tamiya Acrylics, and all the PE was used from the kit, Also I did from Scratch the interior door Handles, and the bolts used to fix the wheel covers, carved part of the body to get the recessed line between the grill plates, that the kit didnt have. The wheels and rims were detailed with some Automotive Body filler (Bondo) to fill the bubbles the resin parts had. A lot of work on a model that had very few pieces, but at last it was greatfull to get it complete! Hope you like it...

Thanks Rene, not at all, let me search on my multiple HDD's and I will post some pictures in the progress I shoot for this baby, I enjoyed the build of that model a lot! The most remembered stage is when I clear coated it, the paint revealed al the soft lines of the body! Its a shame that it was not for me!! I was already to buy another one and build two of them!! :)) LOL!!
