Sherman Firefly Vc

Kit / Model

Sherman VC Firefly - mini model

Manufacturer

Dragon

Item Code

6182

Scale

1/35

Description

This an old Dragon model from 2003.

To enhance the model details, I added:

- Model Kasten tracks, a tedious work but realistic result.

- Photo Etched details.

- Metal rivets and bolts.
- Gun and MG metal barrels.

- Resin tools (shovel, pickaxe, ax, etc..)

The model was initially painted with a spray primer, and then was airbrushed painted green acrylic paint as a base color.

The hull numbers and allied star were stencil painted, and for the tactical insignias and turret numbers I used dry transfers.

Weathering was done using filters, oils, and pigment powders
