FMC XR311 radio controlled

Well this is a model I built first time in 1982. The 4th radio controlled car model Tamiya offered in 1978. You can read more about the real XR311 on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XR311.

The kit was from the time Tamiya intended to have a scale model radio controlled, nowadays the RC car are less scale but powerful.

This is a reissue Tamiya made in 2000, I got recently and wanted to represent a well used car with a faded paint.
I use a mix of Model Master paints to get the olive drab, few filter with diluted acrylic paints, washes and pigments applied with a flat brush.
