Description
The Revell kit came out in 1981, long before the US companies started adding details to their offerings. The cockpit is especially sparse. So I decided to use PE. Eduards had the only set that I could find, I used kit # 32605 F-14 placards, and kit #32529 F-14A interior. The detail that was on the cockpit, I sanded off and then applied the PE. The adhesive was too dried out so I had to apply it with Future Floor Wax and CA glue. The seats are from Aires and they are very highly detailed, After painting I applied some of the PE to the seats. The missles have Cam Decals on them with really adds to the realism of the model.
