Thank you John. You're very kind. It's not too difficult to do I use Old World Art Gold leaf adhesive, and it works better than Microscales Micro Metal foil adhesive. This is the second model that I had foiled. I know about using the other side of the foil, If you can see it, the leading edges and trailing edges are using the dull side. also around the machine guns.There's also a grain to the foil, but my old eyes can't see it all the time.

Following up on my previous comment. Not all aluminium panels are the same. In a `longshot` of a natural metal finish there are areas which are `Flat` silver. The foil has 2 sides which could be arranged to simulate the contrasting surfaces. Will look great on the bigger models such as the B29 in 1/48th. the B52

Absolutely fabulous! I have an F104 waiting for this same treatment. I saw this done many years ago with a modified Airfix Lancaster which was converted to the Lancastrian airliner made up in early BOAC livery and covered with kitchen foil. A pig to apply and the curvy bits are impossible, with very careful cutting and an even sharper pair of eyes, a good end result can be achieved. I think you can `Spear` any wrinkles that occur with your scalpel. Well done.
