MODELO A ESCALA

El modelo ha sido construido para participar en el campeonato de Clásicos del Club Almodeli de Zaragoza. Este campeonato se rige por el reglamento de la ACS para coches Clásicos, estando inscrito en la División IV del mismo.

COCHE REAL

Nada menos que ocho GT40 MKII (la versión mejorada del MK I), meticulosamente desarrollados, estuvieron preparados para las 24 horas de Le Mans de 1966. Cinco coches eran del equipo oficial Shelby American Inc, y otros tres estaban en manos de equipos privados, aunque Ford les proporcionó el apoyo técnico suficiente para la ocasión. Nunca mejor dicho lo de "a la tercera va la vencida", y así Ford rubricó una carrera memorable, arrebatando la hegemonía de Ferrari de las seis ediciones anteriores, y logrando una foto histórica con tres de sus coches llegando en primera, segunda y tercera posición.

El primer coche que cruzó la meta es el protagonista de esta ocasión, el nº 2, pilotado por los neozelandeses Bruce McLaren y Chris Amon.

Hi,
Another great model you have here.
Is the PE set seperate or including in this kit?
That is also a faboulus driver, he's steering with his knee's.
