FIAT-YAMAHA YZR-M1 2008

Kit / Model

FIAT YAMAHA 2008

Manufacturer

scratchbuilt

Item Code

N/A

Scale

1/12

Description

This is almost a scratchbuilt model.
I say "almost" because i use a Tamiya M1 2005 kit as a base to make this model, but i have maded several pieces and modifications.
As i did in the 2006 Camel Yamaha, i made the cowling in epoxy resin. I modified the job that i already done with the 2006 version.

One of the most important things is the decals.
I have designed with Corel Draw 12, verctoriced and color separated to make a silk screen printing of this decals.

The rear cowling parts. This parts is that i builded for the 2006/2007 version. I start the modification from here. I much easier than build it from the Tamiya´s cowling.
The same job with the front cowl.
And the side cowl.
Overall view from the modified cowling, ready to be modified again to get the 2008 version.
This is the design for the decals. The are in low resolution because to protect to be copied.
Decal guide sheet. This decal sheet shows the decals aplied onto a 2005 model. Thats because a lot of modelers in japan are starting to make kits straight from the box and just modified the decals they aply to get a new model. May not be acurated but for sure fun.
Decals printed and packed.
A look of the printed decal (by CARTOGRAF)
And the instruction sheet look.

Hola Nico
