F14D The last Tomcat

The kit is from Hasegawa. Cockpit and wheel bay from Aires. The second is beautiful kit but is dedicated to the “A� version. The instrument panel must be modified to obtain a realistic “D� and needs a lot of work to fit into the fuselage. Furthermore, the Hasegawa kit have the nose – cockpit complex separated from the rest, unlikely the two parts don’t mach, being one larger of about one millimetre than the other. The problem can be solved by adding a plastic strip from Evergreen.
Painted with Model Master, decals from Yellow Hammer.
Fire kart and figure from Verlinden. The base is a mix of wood and plastic.
