| Fujimi kit with Crazy Modeler F430 photoetched set (Note: I started with this one, during the way I then got the specific F430 Challenge set) |

| When I started I was not sure about the livery but the model would have slick tires, anyway. To do so, I sanded away the inner radial dent from all the rims. Tires come from a Tamiya Alfa 155 DTM. Rims are too bright, later on I’ll tone them down with Gloss Aluminium |

| To have an idea about the box-stock stance, I quickly assembled undercarriage, hub and wheels. Stance looks correct in my opinion, despite I’ll probably lower it a bit |

| While I’m thinking how to install the 360 engine in the 430 engine bay, I relaxed myself installing aftermarket locking-nuts on the wheels. Once milled away the molded in nut, I placed on the beautiful Scale Production turned parts (Item SPA24011) |

| Checking to my ref photos I realized that the outer ring of the wheels are rather thick, Fujimi did not replicated it correctly |

| So, just for a check I add a strip of styrene over the kit rims. Here a comparison with and without the strips |
